Let’s extend your wardrobe. September might be one of our favorite months to get dressed.
The wardrobe starts shifting, but not all at once. Bare legs still make sense on the right day, while mornings suddenly call for a blazer. Sandals are replaced by loafers, denim comes back into rotation and somewhere in the wardrobe, the knits start making their way to the front again.
Here is our September style guide:

THE BLOSSOM BLAZER — THE LAYER THAT MAKES THE LOOK
For September, we like the Blossom Blazer slightly undone: thrown over a simple tee or tank with blue jeans and loafers. Add a belt, a larger bag and sunglasses while the September sun is still around.
And when the temperature drops another few degrees? Add a thin knit underneath.

MATCHA TO MARTINI, NOW IN FALL MODE
The Matcha to Martini Dress was always designed around the idea that one dress can live several lives. September might prove the point better than any other month.
For work: wear the black with an oversized blazer, loafers or boots and a structured bag.
For dinner with the girls: espresso, heels, gold jewelry and a jacket thrown over your shoulders. Martini still very much included.
For a cozy dinner at home: crème, bare feet or a soft knit layered over it, candles on the table and something good cooking in the kitchen.
As the season moves further into fall, add tights, boots and heavier layers rather than putting the dress away until next summer.

KEEP IT SIMPLE — MORE WAYS TO WEAR IT
The Keep It Simple Set works just as well together as it does styled separately, which makes it an easy piece to carry into a new season.
As the temperature drops, pair the pants with an oversized knitted sweater and sneakers for a relaxed fall look.
For work, take the Keep It Simple shirt in a slightly more tailored direction. Pair it with slacks, a simple belt and loafers for comfortable workwear that still feels put together. Wear it tucked in for a cleaner look, or slightly loose for a more relaxed silhouette.
EXTEND YOUR WARDROBE
September doesn’t necessarily require a new wardrobe.
Sometimes all it needs is a different shoe, another layer and the return of the knit you’ve been waiting all summer to wear again.
Mix the light with the heavy. Dresses with knits. Relaxed pants with sneakers. Blazers over bare arms while you still can.
Fall is coming.
But we’re not rushing it. 🖤
